Big White at 100.

Well my friends, it has been quite a journey. I started the drawing the Big White Comic in November, it is now the end of March. We made it through the harsh winter. "So many things died... So many things born..." I quote my old roommate, Lucas Rambo, from one of his songs about the changing of the seasons. I feel like Big White is just getting started really.

A few years ago I went on a cross country music tour, playing people's living rooms and small clubs. With just a guitar and Sylvie, my faithful pup, we went from town to town singing songs and slinging Big White t-shirts. I made the design for the first Big White t-shirt for that tour in a monotype/monoprint art class I took at the Maryland Institute College of Art. I am down to my last t-shirt. On my last night in Baltimore this fall, all my friends who had a shirt came out to wish me goodbye sporting their Big Whites. I was honored to have such amiable buds.

Anyways, I will be reprinting the original Big White t-shirt very soon, so that will be available for people who want one. Also, I will be offering several other newer designs for the fans interested in something new. Drop a line if there is something specific you want on a t-shirt and we will see what we can do about it.

We are now 100 posts into the Big White Comic and looking forward to the next 100.

Much Love

Welcome to Big White Comic.

Hi Guys. Welcome to the Big White Comic website. This has been several years in the making. I created Big White about 5 years ago while living in Baltimore, MD. I started drawing him on old pizza boxes, friend's walls, concert flyers, and I just could not get enough of the little fellow. I recently started publishing the Big White Comic on various social media sites and thought I better have a website. Well, here we are. "Armed with an umbrella and a classic disguise, Big White is set to take on the world."
